Free alternative tour in Lefkimmi
Lefkimi is not a tourist region – it is a town that has preserved old traditions to this day.
Sometimes you can meet women in traditional clothing on the street, see old means of transport (e.g. a donkey), talk to the old slow villagers. The buildings of the Melikia part of Lefkimi are 600 years old and more.
Old churches, city history, legends and traditions. The only monastery in the southern part, its history, a meeting with the monk Jacob.. As a sign of gratitude, you can leave a tip.
Note: Have some change if you want to light a candle in a church or monastery. Wear comfortable shoes. After the tour, we will advise you on where to have dinner.
